Steve Francis had some good seasons but he was out of the league by age 30. Greg Oden is suppose to be trying to make a comeback so maybe you can cash out if he comes back and has a huge game?

This is why I collect sets primarily. If one guy goes down dramatically another will likely go up especially if you pick a good year. Diversify your collection.

If you had completed a set from Oden's rookie year, the Durant rookie has more then made up for the loss.

That is a good point. I remember the 1998 lockout season well and how everyone was going after J-Will and tossing their Dirks aside.

I just collect guys, teams, and sets I like - don't chase the hot stuff - so no purchasing regrets for me.

least it went back up after the championship. I was buying psa 10 chrome rc's at around 100$ in 2009 and now they are near double that, but your right, right after cleveland they were down to 60 - 75$.

my worry right now about who is going to drop down to nothing, is RGIII, that injury scares me.

Jeremy Lin knicks auto, mind you though, I already knew what I was getting myself into and the fact that if I were to wait it out, I could get it for a lot cheaper later down the road... But damnit, I still wanted mine, I couldn't wait! Haha

I pulled a Blake Griffin Auto Parallel /99. The reg ones /299 were going for $200 on ebay and the /99 were hitting up to $300-350. NOW - they are like $100- which he is still doing what he was doing this whole time!
