I really like the Mike Trout all except the border. Maybe use the thin border you used above his name. When I look at the card, the border catches my attention before the image does. pretty sharp though.

Love the layout of that card, the blurred background is just a little distracting. But great design foundations you have.

The blur is actually from the grass and dirt brush I used. The brush was huge maybe i'll try making it smaller.
