1:6 is not bad, panini does the same thing with Kobe, 1 in a case always. Jordan autos should be more rare if you ask me, they are flooding the market now,especially since that is the only real way they can sell their product without an NBA license.

The same was true for a case of exquisite basketball. I think it's a good thing b/c if you spend upwards of $1000 per box, you should get something good. This trend is true for other sports as well, but I am sure everyone is aware of that. Superstar autos are easier to come by and that drives their prices down. Again, that's good and bad at the same time.

This product is just not worth it. Yes, even though the list of players are truly all-time greats of the sport, the value of their signatures is definitely not worth the price of busting the product.

Upper Deck is going to ride the Jordan train until they can milk every penny out of his autograph. They would be stupid not to since they are still trying to stay afloat. They really don't care about the value of MJ's autograph if they are out of business.

Interesting insight. Why cant upper deck just get jordan to sign more buyback cards in bulls uni, rather than pump out college stuff which nobody wants.

UD no longer holds a license to produce NBA cards so they are not allowed to produce cards with anything that even looks like a Bulls logo or use live action shots from NBA games that show the Bulls logo or NBA logo. The best they could do would be to use pictures with the logos all Photoshopped out and those are usually less desirable because they look odd.

Leaf has bought Kevin Durant rookie cards and attached stickers to them and then inserted them into packs. They don't own an NBA license either. I know it is a murky issue but one would assume that if Leaf can pull it off then Upper Deck could too.
