I recently started collecting baseball cards. I live on a American post in Germany. The little shopping area we have has very little items to support my hobbies. No cards on stock no protective pages no top loaders no penny sleeves... not to mention that they have mad hockey and football cards... which don't interest me. I have to drive very far for the nearest magic the gathering store for top loaders and pages . And the rest of the things I want I'll order online which is fine but I wish I could just go to the nearest Wal-Mart... that's it guys I'm just mad thanks for reading my rant.

View my store BetaWelcome to the site. Having spent eight years in Germany myself I hear you on just wanting to drive to the nearest Wal-Mart. I'm more of an in-person (IP) auto guy so in one sense your luckier than I was. You can order boxes, cards and supplies online. There were no promoters that I know of that did baseball or football (American) signings over there. I believe Germany's main sport is soccer as is with most if not all European countries which I'm not a collector of. Again, welcome to the site and BOL with your collection.

View my store BetaWelcome aboard sir!! I know how you feel sort of, I collect hockey and when I go down to the US I'm just amazed at the lack of product available. Of course I'm not trapped down there, like you are where you are........sorry and all. Hopefully some of the baseball guys on this site can help you out a bit eh?

View my store BetaHello, and welcome to SCF... I understand in a way. I did not serve, but moving with my father for the better part of his career, during the pre Internet days, did stunt my collection growth.
