    Value on this Sakic please?

    Hi,

I need to know the bv or sv about this Sakic please.
It's not my card and someone need $150sv or $250bv to trade it to me.
Am I crazy or this card value is really the way he thinks?

    Thanks for all helps!
    Phil

Card will obviously be NPDTS since it's /3 so there won't be a BV on it. Your trade value sounds about right but perhaps one of the Sakic collectors can chime in with their thoughts.

Thats a tough one, due to the low numbering its likely worth what someone is willing to pay. Only comparable name there is this one:

    Bobby Clarke $70

With that in mind, I think a $75-$85 SV is generous or around $150 BV. Similar caliber player with plenty of collectors. Hopefully that helps.

If that Sakic went to Ebay as an auction it would end at 45-80$. His value of 150$ is an overestimation. His trade value of 250$ is also very high. The only other thing i'll add is there are a lot of nicer Sakic's you can get in for around $150.

Exactly my thoughts, minus the references to the other cards, but exactly what I was thinking.

I don't see pic anymore, but if this was a Sakic Emblem or Number Silver version /3 from 10/11 Decades 1980s, the last one I saw sold over a year ago for $202.50 on eBay (I only know this as I have been trying to acquire one since the product was introduced). Blacks /6 have sold for $75-$110.
