Busted my first ever packs of hockey today.. 2012 Certified (5) packs

All depends on how much you want to spend, but if you're just gonna pick up the occasional pack for a few bucks, here's what I suggest:

Upper Deck - Young Guns RC's are popular, but this year's class is not real popular
Black Diamond - Not a great set, but I've seen some nice hits, and it reasonably priced
Score - It's cheap, but they're a fun break and feature some decent inserts

If your LCS still has 11-12 packs, these are good packs to bust:
Between The Pipes
SP Authentic (not as good as year's past, but there are some very nice auto's if you're lucky)

The 12-13 sets aren't doing real well, mostly because of a lack of quality rookies, but the ones above will give you the best bang for your buck IMO.

One of my favorite boxes is Panini titanium. had some nice stuff out of it. And I agree on the black diamond.. the emerald and ruby cards are really nice and resonably priced for the packs
