eBay Bucks Program Ending in Canada

Here's what is about to happen on eBay within one year.

No Listing Fees on Auctions, other than Real Estate and eBay Motors, probably capped at $200.00 Auction Starting Price

However, expect Auction Commissions to go from 9% to 12%. This will effectively allow eBay to make 1% more on all auction items.


This is my opinion of what is coming down the pike.

If they do that I will be fine by it. I do a bit of buying and selling on eBay.

Free auctions would be great. At least I am hoping that they would increase the 50 free auctions to a much higher number.

Either they do that or lower the selling fees by 2% which would equal out to the eBay bucks cost. This will never happen by the way.

They probably realized they don't need a rewards program like this because they have no real competition. As for why they are keeping it in USA, Im not sure.

there are no restrictions as to the amount of accounts you can have. For example D and A card word have 4 that I know of, maybe more.

Have gotten a few free cards due to the ebay bucks, too bad.
