Good for him, doing what's best for the team. Peyton Manning, please step to the plate.

View my store BetaHopefully the Patriots use that money to sign some players. They won't win another Super Bowl without some help for Brady.

View my store BetaThis isn't the first time he put his team ahead of himself. He wants to win, and players want to go there to win.

View my store Betaclass act but I can count on 2 hands how many Texans players have taken pay cuts to improve the team more than once. Demeco Ryan's and Andre Johnson did it twice. This was in 09 and 2010. Its times like this when you find out what's more important to a player. The team or themselves. Of course Brady isn't going anywhere regardless and what cut he took was peanuts compared to what he has made over his career. So honestly saying Brady took this kind of a pay cut is more a nice gesture than anything. My big question is who's gonna take his place when he retires?
