Hot cases?

I know there's lots of hot boxes and what not. But recently I was on YouTube and I think it was a break on CnC actually but anyway there was a three box break and each contained a case hit. I can't remember for sure but one hit was a tough patch of Kelly Chase. Another was a Donald Brashear fight strap /8 and a Matthew Barnaby Instigator jersey red /10. Is this odd for a case? I look forward to your replys

That was my break from a year and a bit ago. ITG doesn't have any "case hits" that they determine for any product so I guess it was just luck of the draw.

I've heard of people claiming hot cases, but personally I've never had the cash to buy a case of something lol with the level of 1/1's and low numbered cards being so masses produced though, it wouldn't shock me if they threw in a few extra into certain cases

Definitely luck of the draw with ITG - I bought two boxes of Enforcers and each one had a 1/1 Nameplate and one box also had a Wendel Clark SP auto!

I once opened a box of UD S1 that had two "case" hits in it.

And as Alex said, ITG doesn't define "case hits" quite the way that UD and Panini do.

Finding multiple cards /10 or less in a case of an ITG product is par for the course, relatively speaking.

There are such things as dead cases with ITG lol You usually get at least one big card per master case (usually 20 boxes for their average products) but as the other members say, its mostly a lot of luck. I have hit some very disappointing cases, then hit others that made up for the bad ones. So yes, 90% luck, 10% restraint (assuming you hit big in box one and keep going thinking it will get better lol) I have seen some very hot cases, sadly i never hit any really crazy cases.
