SCF's 10th Birthday Contest #1 - Predict The Winners!

On March 3, 2003, the world changed forever – Sports Card Forum was born and today we want to celebrate 10 years of being the very best hobby site on the ‘Net! We also want to say THANK YOU to our valued members who have helped pave the way to make SCF the #1 destination for collectors. The Hockey boards are some of the most engaging and active sections of the site, and so we want to offer our collectors a number of contests where they can win some fantastic card prizes!

Contest #1 – Predict The Winners!

As part of SCF’s 10^th Birthday Extravaganza we want to test your powers of prognostication!

There are 9 games on the schedule for Sunday, March 3^rd, and if you can outwit and out-guess your peers on SCF you can receive a great autographed card of one of the true legends of hockey, a man who has been instrumental in building the dynasties of a number of the teams who are playing on Sunday: the great Scotty Bowman!

The card you will receive is from the newly-released ITG Motown Madness!

All you have to do is submit your predictions on the official contest entry form below (make sure to answer the tie-breaking questions!) and if you the member with the most correct guesses, you will win the Bowman autograph!

The standard rules and regulations...

Deadline for entry into this Contest is 12:30pm EST on Sunday, March 3^rd when the puck drops between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.
One entry per member. Multiple entries will result in automatic disqualification.
Staff are eligible to enter this contest. The only person who cannot participate is RGM81. He smells funny.
In the event of a tie – the first tie-breaker will be used to separate people who share the same number of correct guesses. The decision will be made similar to how the Guess The Score Contests are gauged:

Correctly predicting the score of both teams.
Tiebreaker #1 - Exact score of winner, with the correct winner
Tiebreaker #2 - Exact score of loser, with the correct winner
Tiebreaker #3 - Correct margin of victory, with the correct winner
Tiebreaker #4 - Closest score of winner, with the correct winner, without going over
Tiebreaker #5 - Closest score of loser, with the correct winner, without going over
Tiebreaker #6 - Closest score of winner, with the correct winner, while going over
Tiebreaker #7 - Closest score of loser, with the correct winner, while going over

In the event that this is insufficient to determine a winner, the second tie-breaker will be used.

Members must be in good standing to be eligible to win the SCF 10^th Birthday Extravaganza Contests, meaning:
- No serious infractions during the past 30 days: a serious infraction is any infraction worth over 3 points – any serious infractions will result in disqualification from the contest.
- No suspensions: if you have been suspended from SCF for rule violations during the past 30 days, you are disqualified from participating.
- No negative feedback for the past 30 days prior to the beginning of the contest - any negative feedback received will be investigated by the SCF Dispute Team.
