Exclamation WFAN: Robinson Cano turns down Yankees 7 year $189 million contract offer

Caught a bit of the show today and supposedly Cano turned down a contract offer of $27 million a year for 7 years from the Yankees. Total comes to $189 million. If true anybody else think Cano won't be on the Yankees next year?

Tough to see him going to the Phillies unless Chase Utley is a free agent at the end of the year. They both play the same position and not much else.

I really like Robbie but if he is not happy making 27 Mil a year to play a game good riddance. If he is involved with PED's like his compadre Milkyoid he needs to be gone anyway and he can take ARoid with him.

I hope his body can hold out for 10 years for whoever signs him....I would like the Yankees to keep him but they already have Arod, Tex, and CC locked up and we don't need another unmovable contract if he is going to be playing hardball.

Not a big fan if long term contracts that are hard to move.
