New member from BC

Hello everyone I am new to the site, collecting sports card and fairly new to the continent and hemisphere as I was planted here from Down Under a few years back. In the last couple of years I have developed an interest in baseball and that is what I have started to collect. I am interested in the Blue Jays in particular JP Arencibia and Brett Lawrie but I also like many of the characters from other teams (Sergio Romo comes to mind). I have collected stamps and specialist covers for years so I am not new to collecting. The main reason for joining the site is that I found a card that I felt should not be in a simple collection like mine (The 2012 Topps Cyan Printing plate of Clayton Kershaw #600) and ebay did not seem like right option. In the stamp collecting world I sometimes found items that to the average joe might be called dull but to the specialist collector were pure gold. It can be fun to find the right home for this kind of item.

I am started by trying to complete the base 2013 Topps Baseball set and will attempt to trade the "better" items I come across for Blue Jay items or people I enjoy watching.

Scott Welcome to SCF. You picked 2 nice Blue Jays to go after as both are class acts. Im sure we will do some trading in the future as I am a baseball collector also more so Braves RC Autos, Kris Medlen and the guys in my sig. I believe he just posted in the Baseball Card Talk section a few days ago about a Kershaw card. His username is RoadKill4Supper I believe.
