Yeah, but we drive by the same places and watch the same commercials and we don't eat like you do. Our diet isn't very good, but apparently our attitude towards food is healthier.

so this is the fault of the GOP????

democrats aren't fat, unhealthy, or both?

how about entitlements, perhaps they don't get enough money to eat the good stuff so they have to eat off the $1 menu?
    or
there are 46,700,000 on foodstamps and 15,000,000 obese, too many foodstamps?

and don't believe everything you read, how about this

Within the 15 countries that made up the EU in 2002, an
estimated 18% of men and 21% of women were obese. This varied within countries with
Austria topping the list with an alarming 30% of men and 26% of women being obese.

    and this

In 2010, about 6.6% of adults in this country were severely obese -- about 15.5 million people -- up from 3.9% in 2000, says the study from the RAND Corp., a non-profit research group.

    This isn't a political issue. It's a societal one.

Until we as a people (All of us) change our outlook on eating, health, education, diet and exercise, mcdonalds will continue to get rich putting us in the grave and no amount of gov't leglislation will do an ounce of good.

It's not just McDonald's, it's the entire industry.
