That's the only part that actually relates to his job. The rest relates to his marriage.

Not really. The "leader" bit is a fallacy. They're elected representatives, not leaders. Leaders are the people who take charge. Politicians, in America, are not meant to lead us, no matter how much they tell us so. They represent, not lead.

Now, you may say that anyone who diddles a mistress is a poor representative for you, and you'd be right on a personal level. On a state and national level, I think having adulterers represent you is actually pretty conservative representation considering the theives , bigots, liars and self-interested who make up the general population.

All things considered, your government is a pretty fair representation of America as a whole. If you look to politicians to lead you, you look to politicians to tell you what to do. If the people lead the government, at least* the people will be responsible for they're own demise. Of course, your representatives also spend more time passing blame than doing anything...like I said, fair representation.

*- by at least, I mean worst case scenario.

no, the president should lead their people, help their people, set an example for their people. this is the fact whether it is a time of crisis or not. whether they lead us to war, wealth, unity, or peace, they are in the lead, that is why we elected them.

just like a father/mother sets an example for their children, so does the president, governor, mayor (and so on) sets an example for the community, state, and country, much like a church leader and their members.

Sanford is a loser and failed and Clinton is no better.

did you forget the teen sex issues we had because of Clinton?

Guess that no longer applies? Well, that's fitting.

And no, this guy shouldn't be involved in politics, for the record.

And just like parents they make mistakes.
However failure as a husband is not theft from the people. That is the difference here.

What bothers me is a nation built on the people leading the government is full of people willing to follow the government.

    That's bass ackwards, man.

Dude are you serious? Clinton is not a sex education teacher and he is not the nation's daddy. If a kid gets his sex ed lessons by listening to clintion that is a serious inditment on the school system and conservative anti sex ed parents.

    veggie,

children use to look up to the president and actually want to grow up to be one. when clinton did what he did and got away from it, it taught children that this was ok, if the president can do it, why can't they.

instead of making excuses for one and hating the other, how about not liking what either did, since it was the same.
