So glad to see this thread. I don't have anything to say that anyone hasn't already said but Virgil was one of the greatest contributors to our hobby. I only sent to him once... Didn't think I could top my first return. He was so nice he told me that if I didn't like the way he signed my photos to let him know and he would send me new ones. Unbelievably kind.
Virgil will be missed and fondly remembered. However, I like to think that when someone lives a life as long and full as Virgil and spreads as much joy as he did in his close to 96 years, we shouldn't mourn when we lose him but rather celebrate the love he gave us.
Thanks Virgil, it was quite a pleasure.

Cant add much that already hasnt been said but i really enjoy my TTM's i got from Mr Trucks. Look at the stat ball he signed for me a few years back quit often. Still one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

Wow Virgil was a great guy, I'm very glad I sent out to him when I did. I'll always keep that letter he wrote me, rest easy Virgil.
