Who's the Flyers best player? Answer not as clear as you'd think
Claude Giroux seems like a no-brainer answer. He was the third-highest scoring player in the league last year despite taking on tough minutes. He is the captain and the acknowledged leader.
But the numbers leave room for debate. Here are some cumulative stats for 5-on-5 play since Jakub Voracek joined the Flyers:

Due To Rules Violations
this year? Its a toss up between Wayne Simmonds and Jake Voracek... I like Simmer because he does it all, among the team leader in goals, he fights, he checks, he takes pucks to the face and comes back... As a Flyers fan though its been a really tough mini season to watch though on most nights.

Considering G is having a 'bad' year and Voracek is having his best season of his career, I think it's safe to say that Giroux is the Flyers best player.
Simmonds is great to watch, he is the type of player Philly loves, but most of his production comes from playing down low on the PP (I wouldn't be surprised if Jake or G has an assist on every one of his goals this year.

I would say Simmons, everytime i watch the Flyers play, he's the most noticable player for the Flyers. Scoring, hitting, mixing it up and fighting.
