I am surprised this trade happened. My initial thought is that when looking at this trade and the Nash trade last summer, Columbus came out ahead. I am not sure why the Rangers decided to make this trade.

You just took 3 of the Jackets 6 top players, half the age or more of Gaborik, the Jackets might have finished with more points than the Rags this years (lol, not now) the jackets will hit the skids.
Rangers become bigger, stronger, faster, and get rid of a guy that is a 12-14 goal underperformed. You should be celebrating, not complaining.
Just watch Gaborik now in Columbus, he will do an Alex Kovalev and only show up for every 4th game. Columbus continues to shoot themselves in the foot. As soon as they get one of their guys going, they give them away for somebody too long in the tooth.Last edited by centrehice; 04-03-2013 at 06:06 PM.

Clowe - One Goal Two assists in 5 minutes
Brassard - One beautiful assist on the 1st Goal by Richards.
Fleury SIEVE - 3-0 Rangers, Pens getting Clowe-Stomped
Now they take one of Clowe's assists away. Lol

I guess Clowe needed a change of scenery to snipe his first of the year
