So the highest court in the land, who's job it is to interpret the constitution and decide what's constitutional are fallible and should have their rulings challenged.

But politicians shouldn't create laws that go against the Constitution.

So who decides what's constitutional and what's not?

It seems to me you believe YOU and only YOU should be in charge of the constitution. That sounds like a dictatorship, which goes against your constitution.

Better call SCOTUS and schedule your case to run the country as you see fit. After all, hey might have got that wrong.

So if the surpreme court makes a ruling that is eventually determined to run afoul of the constitution it should just stand forever because the ruled on it? Segregationists/republicans/conservatives are going to love you.

As is anyone else who tries to touch the constitution. Like these fine folks from NC.

Glad to see you're on their side. Just wondering why you're arguing against yourself.

Keep reaching wick the draft will be here in a couple of weeks. It is not politicians job to sidestep the constitution. The SCOTUS is charged with explaining the constitutionality of laws however there is precedent for a later version of the supreme court to overturn a previous ruling eg Plessy vs Furguson.

Whatever you say man. This isn't so much a sidestep as a soft secession. They're governing their own area. Frankly, I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner and anyone who champions state's rights should be cheering these Republicans on.
That, not religion, is the real crux of this issue.

He is violating his oath he made to the constitution and the people he was sworn to serve. If these republicans have that much of a problem with our constitution they need to resign immediately.

So what you're saying is, once any decision has been made regarding the constitution should not be questioned or challenged.

You're kind of going back and forth. There's two pieces of cake veg, do your stuff!

You are just like the republicans/christians/conservatives picking and chosing what they want to hear. I said that the supreme court is the final say so in legal matters but if they do make the wrong decision as in plessy vs furguson it can always be reversed by the court at a later date. Politicians have no authority to go around the supreme court. It's not a real difficult concept to grasp.
