Which 13/14 products are you considering?

I was just wondering which products might be worth a closer look this year for the double rookie class. As a Habs fan, I'm interested in getting some Galchenyuk rookies but not sure if there are some products that retain value better than others. Should I be looking at Panini Dominion? Pryzm? Upper Deck Series 1? Trilogy? Soooo many products makes it confusing for a new collector. :)

Additionally, do you think the Team Canada set will be worth going for? Is there a particular reason they released it this year?

I think the safest bet is UD Series 1/2. Young Guns are a staple and they generally hold their value. SP Authentic and Cup are also have rookies that retain their value but Cup rookies can get quite pricey if they are /99. Those (to me at least) hold the most value over time. Everything else seems lower (of course there are exceptions)

The only thing I like about Panini is the Silhouette Rookies.

Regarding Team Canada product, Im sure it will be a big hit. How big is the question. Its is on par with the Series 1/2 and offers 2 autos per box. The only reason I can think of them releasing it this year is possibly using up some old sticker autographs they have lying around.

I'm trying to decide what I want to do. I'm probably going to kill off my current wants until 13-14 UD1 comes out.

I am going to buy into 2-3 breaks of Trilogy to see if I can snag some of the 12-13 RCs, will jam in a few boxes of Team Canada and then will unload on UD1. Plus I'll keep buying Contenders from 11/12 and filling in my OPC parallel sets. I am going to try hard NOT to buy into this year's Score and OPC, but will probably fail miserably.

OPC and S1. If anyone wants team sets from either, let me know as I'm breaking 10 cases of OPC and likely 10 of S1.
