    Cleaning off a card?

I just pulled a game worn Vernon Wells Allen and ginter card from a 2012 pack I found at target, and there is a small crusted spot of some substance on the card. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to safely remove it?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Is it on the material or just the cardboard part of the card???

Ryan, I am very leery about messing with a card's surface. Are you planning on selling it? If not, don't worry about it.

The only cards I'll ever touch are chrome cards, which are notorious for spotting when they are produced. A polishing cloth, if used carefully, will help remove that.

Do you have a scan of the card in question?

Not at the moment no... But I do plan on keeping it. It's on the surface and not the cloth though, thankfully.
