Just once, I would like to see my team (the Brewers) make it through the first month of the season without some major injury.

It's bad enough that Corey Hart is missing the first month/month and a half of the season, now Aramis Ramirez might have a sprained knee.

We've already lost the guy that was supposed to be the starting first baseman this year-Mat Gamel, for the second straight season with a torn ACL. Now we've got Yuniesky Betancourt at third base, and Alex Gonzalez, a career shortstop, starting at first.

I love baseball, but between these stupid injuries, it's hard to get excited. We can't just go out and buy a replacement the way some other teams can.
