    who cares that he was a swat team leader, this had nothing to do with his job.

    and quite often people who are injured are injured from the fall rather than the strike, this is why I am against violence.

    he should have been found guilty, god that a jury could decide on such an easy conclusion

    just goes to show you that you never know what could happen if you get into it with another person. No one would have guessed that one punch would cause so much damage. It's just not worth it for either side.

    I agree, his job really is very secondary to the story. I will say that you'd expect an officer to have more control, but they are human.

    Law enforcement is law enforcement whether on duty or not. It's just one of those careers.
