    WHAT WE PULLED

    Base - 22/100 (22%)

Tribute contains a 100-base card set. Typically, you will get 22-23 base cards in a box as the parallels and hits will comprise the rest. As in past years, the cards are on a thick stock utilizing a foil board to give a sleek chrome look. What I don't understand is how these cards are not numbered, considering this is one of the highest priced baseball products throughout the year.

You can expect 1-2 parallels in every box. They have different color backgrounds and range in print run from 99 to 1. There are six levels as well as Printing Plates. These are all the "bonus" cards you will find as there are no inserts in Tribute.

    Yonder Alonso Autograph /99

Ken Griffey Sr Sepia Autograph Redemption /35

    Juan Marichal Gold Autograph /15

Cole Hamels Tribute To The Stars Jersey with Pinstripe /99

Matt Kemp Tribute To The Stars Sepia Jersey /15

Albert Belle Tribute Transitions Dual Bat /99

Each box will yield 3 autographs and 3 relics. All the cards will be numbered to 99 or less. Be on the lookout for parallel versions of all the cards. And as an added bonus, on-card signatures! And what seems to be a continuing theme, here's another product with Bat Knobs and Bat Plates that are 1/1s.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

I saw the Ken Griffey redemption and was going to say great pull then I noticed that it was Ken Griffey SR and not JR. Don't really know why his dad is a redemption but I'm sure a lot of collectors are going to be disappointed after getting that false hope as well.

What happens to all the non-base cards pulled from these sponsored breaks? Do they go into the CC Store or something?

    Just curious...

#ed cards, relics and autos either get placed in the CC Store or get used by the site for contest prizes or giveaways...

So if every pack gets you either a memorabilia card or an auto, will the NPN always get you one of the 2?

If so, I'm sending that in for sure

No, the NPN gives you an opportunity to receive a card from Tribute. It could be an auto or relic. It could also be a #ed parallel or base card.
