If you look on his website he sells a regular signed bat for $199.99 and a Mizuno signed bat for $399.99. I'm no economist but I think it's the supply and demand principal, less of a product the more it cost.

In person - I felt the COA was worth it - bc Its on his postcard and he signs it and fills it out also - so I would rather have a coa for a premium also -

    1) Back in 89 - He was in Nashville - it was $10 for an auto - - you handed a card to a helper - they placed and held it for him - he passed it to another helper and they handed it back NEVER LOOKED AT YOU _

    2) Last year in VEGAS - he signed for a higher price but that includes the actual item - so 100 for the ball includes the ball - if you ask they may combo or do your item also - also his staff takes photos - he shakes your hand - chit chats - so its a nice 5 minute experience

In 1985 when Pete Rose was a player/manager for the Reds attempting to be "The Hit King" a photographer captured a photo in a series against the Phillies in Veterans Stadium in the batters box. This photo graced the cover of Becket Monthly. Apparently the bat was found a scuff marks and tape marks were identified and authenticated to be used by Pete Rose. The bat was x-rayed at one point and the bat was found to have been "corked" That bat was a MIZUNO

Yeah RyanPMeyer filled me in but it's in East Hannaford. Unfortunately, that's almost 3 hours away from my house and you are not able to get outside items signed :(
