And we be tied another gut wrenching 4-3 win but too close for comfort. When the Rangers blew the 2 goal lead I thought they were in trouble, but a stupid Washington penalty at the end of the 2nd period bailed them out.

Holtby bailed the Rangers out with his slip and slide performance on 2 goals. If he settles down, which I predict he will, Rangers will run into trouble again...

If we keep putting pressure on them and out hit them like the last 2 games, we should have a good chance of winning. We stop doing that and we'll be in trouble. Either way, Nash needs to wake up and start moving his feet more, if he's not gonna contribute offensively, at least play some solid defense (prefer him on offense though lol).

Not sure what the lines will be for us though, Hagelin had an assist w/Pyatt and Richie, had a goal w/Brassard (forgot who else was on at that time), and had an assist with Stepan and Cally lol. Gotta win at the Verizon Center eventually though if we wanna win this series, may as well do it tonight

Man the ice was tilted towards the Rangers end that whole second period, lucky to be tied at 1 going into the 3rd.If the Rangers don't have any puck control in the 3rd they will not pull this one out.

Still leaning the Caps way only way the Rangers steal this one is a fluke goal being outshot 10-2 at the 9.23 mark in the 3rd pretty hard to watch.

And it's over Caps win 2-1 on a goal by Ribiero,Back to MSG FOR GAME 6 DOWN 3-2 ,hopefully they hold serve and at least force a game 7.The overtime had lots of chances for both teams lets just say the Capitals CAPITALIZED ON THEIR CHANCE.

Rangers didn't deserve a win with how they played past the 1st period.

    1st period = 10 shots
2nd and half way through 3rd period = 6 shots (and not even decent chances really).

Just not cutting it. Wake up, guys.

Btw, Cally's offense, where did it go? His grind was also lacking this game (and every game, aside from game #4).

great win by the caps!! for some reason they always start slow in this series and let rags score first most of the time!! i like how oates changed pairing on D erskin is really nervius with the puck. nash is playing great he is protecting puck well and creating chances i dnk what rangers fans want from him its a low scoring series!! he is doing what he can))
