2013 SCF Playoffs Nightly "Guess The Score" Contest - open to all in good standing :)

Welcome to the Sports Card Forum NHL Playoffs Nightly “GUESS THE SCORE” Contest!!!


Now that the playoff seeds have been set, it’s time to make your predictions! The rules for this contest are simple, and are listed as follows:

· Each day, we will post the schedule for that day’s/night’s games earlier on in the day. We will aim to have each day’s schedule posted in the morning. We will also update the standings/scoring each day as well and have that posted clearly for everyone to see at all times.

· Your task is to predict the score in each game!

· Simply copy and paste the schedule for that day’s games and add your predicted scores. Then, PM your guesses back to me (ravens_creed) before the puck drops in the first game of the day (that will be the cut-off time each night). Also, it would be incredibly helpful if you sent your nightly picks to me with the subject line "Nightly Guess The Score" or something to that effect.

· Each day, I will post a “cut-off” message, and then post each contestant’s guesses for that day. Because you are PMing me your guesses (rather than posting them in this thread – please don’t do that!) – your guesses are confidential. However, all guesses will be viewable as soon as the games are underway, so that each contestant can compare their guesses to the others.



· SCORING: each contestant will receive one point for guessing the correct winning team of each game, as well as one point for the correct number of goals scored by each team. There is a possible 3 points in each game.


· PRIZE: What better way to celebrate the playoffs than to chase a nice card featuring two players with Stanley Cup rings! The top prize in this contest will be this:

Members must be in good standing to be eligible to play this contest, meaning:
- No serious infractions during the past 30 days: a serious infraction is any infraction worth over 3 points – any serious infractions will result in disqualification from the contest.
- No suspensions: if you have been suspended from SCF for rule violations during the past 30 days, you are disqualified from participating.
- No negative feedback for the past 30 days prior to the beginning of the contest - any negative feedback received will be investigated by the SCF Dispute Team.
