Tavares signature has gone to crap
Finally happened like most athletes, we now get the scribble that is noticed on in person autos found on hockey cards also.

Nothing like it has been in previous years.

Could be a LOT worse, at least it's still got some style to it. Imagine the size of the sheet of stickers he head to deal with, the poor guy. The poor REAL WEALTHY guy hahahaaa. But still, for some reason I don't mind that auto at all :)

I think it looks pretty nice, even if it is sloppy.

Could also be because he had to concentrate to get his auto onto the smaller-sized stickers. Perhaps with a larger surface he still runs wild!

To me it look pretty much like he always signed. I look at rookie year and it vary a lot from one auto to a other. But mainly it's always pretty much the same as before. Nothing like we saw with other players.
Mainly you have the J with a line on top. Then some scribble with a peek line going up and then the T and jersey number. Early auto was the same really, check this one from 2008

Yes maybe it was the sticker that caused the John part to go off a bit. The T 91 has pretty much been the same over the years.

I've found he signs better when you meet him at events then when he signs for companies.
I collect Matt Dzieduszycki, Derek King, Pierre Turgeon (Isles only), Zigmund Palffy (Isles only) plus specific current Isles (mainly Wahlstrom, Dobson, Barzal, Beauvillier, Pulock)

I think this is an effect of signing hundreds of stickers at the same time. It probably takes a toll on his fingers/wrist. I'd love to know how many they sign in one sitting for the companies

I really don't see any big 'then - now' difference there. Really good looking auto compared to many other player's auto.
