    Mini Rant-Scans Please

I noticed here more than any other site that a large majority of people that bust wax are either too lazy to scan their cards or too cheap to invest in a scanner. I understand that if you can't afford one, but most of these people are case breakers and those that purchase a large portion of wax. I like most people like to see images of what people get and most likely won't take the time to read a list of a bunch of cards especially if it is a large break. Also what's the deal with all the blaster breaks on here???

I honestly don't get why people can't have scans or pictures of cards in the year 2013. Years ago it made sense that people didn't because you had to go out and buy a scanner since nobody had a digital camera. Scanners were kinda expensive if you didn't have another use for them. But now doesn't every cell phone take pictures? Just take a picture of the card that way.

I think people are just lazy. I know I can get lazy with scans, but no one wants to see my golf collection anyways lol.

When you think about it though, it does take a lot more time to scan, crop & upload the pictures than it does to read through the list.

Yes but in all essence as a 'provider' I would want my 'customer' to be able to see the product they are thinking about obtaining. It comes down to how much effort you want to put out to give people a warm fuzzy.

I do understand that people may not be able to obtain a scanner. However in this day and age there are not that many people that can buy cards that shouldn't have some sort of method to provide scans/pictures of cards when requested.

I like to see the cards also. It is a form of art and also allows me to go ooo I would like that for my collection if I can find it in my player. A list is just ho hum....

All opinions are mine and can be rented if needed. :D

I have a Kodak ESP Office 2150. Its a scanner, Printer, Fax. It has come in handy when needing to use each feature. It was less then $200. Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Staples, etc will carry Scanners. Usually someone each weekend will have them on sale.

Right on. There are also a lot of people that have photobuckets and can't organize it for CRAP. Gang scans everywhere, not naming their scans etc etc. I took the time to organize my bucket by box break and my PC by player, game used, auto and whatever. That's why I get lazy with scanning my cards, but when I do it I take the time to do it properly.

I have never bought or traded for a card on here unless I can see a scan. It only makes sense to see the overall condition of the card before you either trade/buy it.
