    I've sent email numerous times to different athletes and have never received a response back

    Yeah, I figured email is easier to ignore than a letter. Which is why I go back & forth on this.

    If they sign for most people, then just send it. If they don't sign much, then email first so you don't waste stamps and cards.

    This makes a lot of sense. I was leaning towards doing this.
