Spotting reprints
I was looking at a Roy rookie from a member here and all the scans looked great and he had good feedback so I went for it. It was on the cheap side, but nothing too crazy for what they've been going for lately. So, long story short, I had my local dealer authenticate it for me, since I was planning on getting it slabbed, and it turned out to be a fake. I know a lot of you guys know this stuff, but I had my guy do a video about the process to share with people who don't know the difference and help to protect themselves in the future. The seller was very apologetic and didn't know it was a reprint so I got a full refund and he's in the process of getting his money back from the guy he got it from. Here's the video, I hope I can save at least one person the trouble on a card.

Great video! It would be interesting to know if this card is sitting in the display at Maverick Sport's, St John's is where the card was headed to when it became lost.

I actually took a look there for you and didn't see it. I mentioned it to the store owner to let me know if it walks through the door.
