Ive had issues with bubbling of paint pens on dark helmets and always rub them down with baby powder. Not sure what difference things make but some are worse than others. My Ditka throwback bears helmet in deco paint was awesome. I got a Chiefs helmets signed by Emmit Thomas and it bubbled up horrible and ended up wiping it. I have been using silver sharpies since and had no issues.

I've had great fortune with the Infinty silver markers. Have gotten cards, photos (8x10s) and even a jersey signed with them with 0 problems.

I use the Silver or Gold SRX on bats, helmets, pucks, etc. Come out great everytime. Just make sure you let it dry. Takes a little longer than a sharpie does though

Is a ultramarks market the same thing as an srx market?
