    08-09 OPC Metal vs Gold

Ok, so I've had this ongoing debacle regarding the difference between Metal and Gold parallels in my Malhotra PC. I need to know the difference, because I have one, but not the other, and I don't know which one. Any help would be fantastic. I have "this one":

I believe that one is Metal-X.

    The Golds were reallllll shiny

The Metals were shiny but darker

And the Metal-X ones were like the Metals but they had those funky "outlines" around the player............

At least that's what I BELIEVE.

You have the Metal for sure. As pictured above the Metal-X has the lines throughout the card.

The Metal-X card I have has the "funky outlines" but does not appear to have the lines throughout the background. Perhaps it is just the photo

    Attachment 76100

I remember them like this: (correct me if I'm wrong)
Gold Parallel: Rainbow "refractor" like appearance
Metal Parallel: Silver-ish reflective surface with slightly raised outlines around the player and logo.
Metal-X Parallel: Rainbow "refractor" like appearance and raised outlines around player and logo

Well now I'M confused.......I have no idea what any of mine are now :(

I have a very bright n shiny Alex Burrows which I KNOW is a Gold because I pulled it from a not-update pack.

I have a shiny but darker Ryan Kesler with no outlines.

And I have a shiny but darker Roberto Luongo with outlines.
