Daily crime blotter back by popular demand
SO let us discuss our great law abiding(LOL) citizens as this thread is back for discussion.
I will start with one close to home in time for the holidays
State police have identified two men arrested for an incident where a gunshot was fired at a trooper during a pursuit in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County.
Daniel Alfredo Negron-Rosario, 27, of Harrisburg, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and recklessly endangering for firing a rifle at the trooper Wednesday afternoon on Hartzdale Drive behind the Capital City Mall, police said in court documents.
Alberto Xavier Rodriguez-Rivera, 24, also of Harrisburg, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering, fleeing and eluding and traffic violations, the documents state.
Rodriguez-Rivera was driving a black Nissan Maxima that had an expired registration plate when the trooper, in an unmarked patrol car, attempted to stop him on Route 11/15, the criminal complaint states.
Rodriguez-Rivera refused to pull over and instead exited at Lower Allen Drive, then continued to Simpson Ferry Road and Hartzdale Drive where Negron-Rosario stood up through the Nissan's sunroof and pointed the rifle at the trooper, the complaint states.
The trooper heard a single shot as he was ducked behind the dash and continued to pursue the Nissan until Rodriguez-Rivera crashed into a business park. The two suspects fled on foot into a wooded area and were eventually captured, according to the complaint.
A 7mm rifle equipped with a scope and loaded with two rounds, as well as a box of ammunition for the gun, was found in the woods, police said in the document.

And then there is this piece of work
Cops in Rockland County have arrested a cold-hearted mom who they say killed her baby boy and tossed him in the trash.
Maria Oliva Guaman-Guaman, 23, was arraigned Tuesday night on a charge of second-degree murder, Spring Valley Police Chief Paul Modica said Wednesday.
She is accused of strangling her newborn and putting the body in a recycling bin at a deli in Spring Valley.
The Dumpster was then taken to Brookfield Recycling in Elmsford, N.Y., where a worker discoverd the body on Nov. 12.
Modica told the Daily News that Guaman-Guaman was “emotionless” when she was first interrogated and then began crying as investigators honed in on her as the suspect.
“There wasn’t the huge amount of remorse you would think in a situation like this,” said Modica.
“I got to tell you, there was a bit of callousness.”
She made a “full confession” and allegedly told detectives, “I can’t afford another child,” Modica said.
DNA linked Guaman-Guaman to the baby. Modica said she was a person

Get these pieces of trash off the streets and lock them up for a long, long time, in the case of the mother, a needle in the arm sounds better to me. Here's an idea, if you don't want another child, stop the procedures that make them, or hey practice safer methods, they are a lot cheaper. She looks like a real winner anyway, hopefully her other kids get placed into a different situation.
