The SCF 2014 Winter Olympics Challenge Contest!!!! - Leg #5 in Pursuit of Patrick!

SCF proudly presents the 2014 Winter Olympics Challenge - Leg #5 of the In Pursuit of Patrick Contest!

The NHL (and a few players you've never heard of) is heading off to Sochi, Russia from February 12th to the 23rd to hopefully bring glory to whichever country you're cheering for!!!

SCF is excited to present to you, our great members, the latest leg of the In Pursuit of Patrick Contest, where the grand prize is this amazing and super short-printed multi-colour patch card of Patrick Roy!

Limited to only 3 copies, this is a pretty amazing card!

So here's the contest, there's two parts to it. It's not tooooo hard, but it will require daily participation

Part one - before February 12th, boldly predict the following:

1 - The Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners, in order.
    CANADA, SWEDEN. FINLAND

    2 - T
he top three points-getters in the tournament. Kessel, Karlsson, Granlund

    3 - The tournament MVP.
    Teemu Selane

4 - Who will score the Gold Medal game-winning-goal.
    Jonathan Toews

5 - Team Canada's goalie in their last game of the tournament, be it for the Gold Medal or the Bronze or just to keep from being relegated to the B pool next time out....... Roberto Luongo,
    Carey Price or Mike Smith.

6 - The Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal winners in the WOMEN'S tournament.
    CANADA, USA, SWITZERLAND

7 - The MVP for the women's tournament.
    Florence Schelling

Each correct answer is worth 3 points, and there are 13 different answers in the seven questions, for a total of 39 points.

Part two - Guess the Scores!!!

Predict the winner and final score for each game of the tournament. There are only two to four games per day, so it's not killer. BUT...... the games start at the wonkiest times imaginable, so your picks will have to be in early. Each morning I will post the day's (or next morning's) upcoming games and your guesses HAVE to be submitted no later than 8PM EST the same day. I needs my sleeps :D............ This part is worth 1 point per each winner and 1 point per each correct score.

The postings for this portion of the contest will be located in the special sub-forum created for this contest leg. Please click here for the Guess the Scores portion of the contest.

And that's it. All of your predictions should be added to this thread, so that we can all see and know that everything is on the up&up. Feel free to send in your picks for part 1 anytime between now and February 12th. I will get the ball rolling for part 2 and you'll all know it!

    The Rules

All SCF Members in good standing, including the SCF Staff, are eligible to participate in the season-long contest and therefore this leg of the contest.

To enter, sign up in this here thread. Deadline for entry will be 10pm EST, February 11, 2014.

One entry per member. Multiple entries will not be accepted.

Any Infractions or Negative Trade Feedback received during the contest will result in an automatic disqualification from the contest.

There are no trade requirements for this leg of the contest.

And lastly, the prizes for this leg!!!

The Olympics are a pretty big deal, so I've got a couple half-decent cards to give away to the winner, so you should definitely join in and play!!

A brand-new 13/14 SPGU Brendan Gallagher 2-color Team Canada jersey card

Anddddddddddd, Captain Canada himself, from UD World of Sports..........

Let's have at 'er!! Go Team Canada!! Go Team-Whoever-You're-Cheering-For!!!
