Press Pass introduced the Total Memorabilia line just a couple of years ago. This year, a couple of changes have taken place. First, it is now Gallery Edition, meaning the subjects are capture more like a painting than a regular photo. And secondly, which probably benefits the sanity of the collectors, packs are filed within an acrylic box. Previously, each pack was housed with in a small box with the easiest way to open was to rip on of the sides as they did not slide open without hassle. The base set contains 50 cards and you can expect five per pack (though keep in mind any pack with a booklet will only contain the booklet). The artist rendered look encapsulated within the foil bordered cards look great and play off of each other well. One noticeable drawback to the collation is that the cards are seeded in number order. For instance, our packs had the following in each pack, cards 4-8, 9-13, 14-18, 19-23. It takes away from the mystery of what cards will appear if the entire run was done this way.

There are two parallels for each base card. The Gold (/175) and the Black And White (/99) will appear overall once per pack. In addition, there are two insert sets that appear once per pack, Acceleration and Hall Of Fame Inductees. As a side note, the Hall Of Fame Inductee set is not a continuation or a part of the continuity NASCAR HOF set Press Pass has released over the last few years.

Each pack of Total Memorabilia yields one race used relic or autograph. The main relic fall under the Total Memorabilia set name. These will generally have multiple relics in various combinations. Tires reign supreme in the Burning Rubber continuity set as well as Dirt Track Treads. 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Jimmie Johnson has a relic set devoted strictly to him with Champions Collection. Windshields make an appearance within the Clear Cuts set. For autograph seekers, there are booklets in Signature Collection that combine relics and a auto as well as Rising Stars that center around the "future" of the sport with relics and autos. In previous years, an autograph typically appeared once per box. This looks to be the same case this year.
