So I was told that Jim Henderson would be sent for a Rehab assignment and had a few cards of his I really wanted done so I went to pregame hoping to catch him going to the pen. It was hot and my kids were in a bad mood so this was a bad one.

    Nashville:
    Sean Halton-ignored
    Lucas May-ignored
    Caleb Gindl-stayed in dugout
    Eugenio Velez 1/1 (Mightyswede)
Taylor Jungann 0/2, said he would sign after game but not pregame on pitching days
Jeremy Hermedia 1/9....(jbsouth) I was shocked that he signed!
    Hector Gomez 2/2 (Andrew96)
Rick Sweet 1/1, finally got him to come over and he stayed and talked for a couple minutes
Jim Henderson never saw him so no idea if he was in town or not
Jeremy Jeffress never saw him so no idea

Total was a whooping 4 and my kids were total pains in the you know what, wish I had just stayed home kind of day.

*Got a tip that McHugh was going to do a rehab start then head to Houston, ding-ding-ding
Collin McHugh 3/3, cool kid stopped and talked to Btown about his blog and career. After getting him ran over to Round Rock.

    Express-Pre
Carlos Pena 1/1 on a Cubs 8x10-made my night! Even though my pic didnt turn out the best.
Michael Choice 2/8, I have 4 cards left on 50/50 and 4 of my own and I hope to get 2 done tomorrow
Robbie Ross-denied, he was the starter
Donald, Lillibridge, Wilson did not come out
Buechele and Owen ignored my plee's for autographs

    Post
    Brent Lillibridge 5/8
    Jerome Williams 2/2
Steve Buechele 8/8 had family in town so he signed everything
    Alex White 3/3

Not a whole lot but still happy since I hit the two people I wanted most (McHugh and Pena) but the making us leave early pretty much killed any chance to get the other Round Rock players to stop. A whole lot of I'm late for the bus or sorry guys not now.....

Had 3 friends come to game to finish all my Pena and Choice cards since they had been signing pregame. Basically had cards for 5 guys and no one signed.
Michael Choice 0/8, 2 in each book
Carlos Pena 0/4, 1 in each book
Matt West 0/8, never saw him
    Justin Wilson 0/1
    Brent Lillibridge 0/2
    Spike Owen 0/4
Bout as bad of a night one can have especially since I had all the help. Then to top it off I told the guys I would buy them beer for helping -$40 but the heckling of Carlos Pena made it all worth it.

Should be all caught up and I'll see Iowa tonight. I have a ton of unsigned cards that several players were not with teams when they came through or were on the DL. Also if you send cards on pitchers they have been unusually tough to get this year since post game stinks and I have been doing mostly pregames. I will try and get cards mailed out by the middle of September but there is a tenative audit at my work which could really throw things off.

Iowa is like getting auto with a MLB team, everyone is one per and several players ignore you. Bryant and Soler both sign pregame so that is a bonus though. Olt is pretty good but everyone is one per. Bryant signs off center SS and Soler signs SP on balls. Manny doesn't sign. Straily, Rosscup and Beeler are all nice and sign multiples while Vizcaino is pretty tough and Mateo is very tough, both limit to 1 per as well to boot.

The Cubs exited a different way then security told us no asking players for autographs. Post game continues to be a bust but I was told they would shut down the loading ramp and they did.
