The IMSA/Tudor Challenge Series guys are in town this weekend, and I had another chance to catch up with Patrick Dempsey. I remain extremely flattered that he remembers me, as he gave me a hearty greeting and showed the rest of his team the movie stills from 1988 that I brought to get signed, which produced a lot of yuks from them. As far as A-listers, Patrick is the best.

Patrick Dempsey- 3/3. Signed 3 8x10s for me.

Did the Bert Blyleven signing in Rochester last night at the Red Wings game vs. Indianapolis. Made it through his line 2x and got a couple set cards done.

    Bert Blyleven- 1/1. 1/1. (87T) (78T)

Bert was very friendly and chatted with everyone. No inscriptions however, and would not sign HOF postcards.

    Pre Game:
Wasn't there long, as Bert's line was huge and I needed to be back in it if I was going to get through twice.

    Robert Andino- 3/3.

During the game Dave Concepcion was spotted behind home plate, and signed a few in between innings.

Dave Concepcion- 1/1. ROMLB SS. Pretty nice surprise.

    Post game:
Everyone glomming on Gerrit Cole. He signed about 6 on his way to the bus. He got pretty irritated because people were pushing. The locals said he was pretty tough all series. I got a few others:

    Trevor May- 1/1.
    Alex Meyer- 1/1.
    Tom Filer- 2/2.
    Vin Mazzaro- 1/1.
    Andrew Lambo- 1/1.

Next up the Nascar boys roll into town Aug 8-10. Hoping to snag some good ones.

Hey, it seems like you've got frontier field down pretty well in terms of knowing how to get graphs, at least according to the first page of this thread. I live in rochester and was wondering if you could give any tips, especially post game. Thanks

Post game is as easy as it gets at Frontier Field. All you do is wait by the ticket window in front of the stadium. Both teams exit the door just to the right of the ticket window. The Red Wings parking lot is straight ahead, and the visiting players either walk to the bus in the same parking lot, or around the corner back to the hotel.

    Good Luck!

NY-PENN League games are the best for autographs and now more and more players have cards. In the past not so many had cards

Just as we were getting ready to leave, Dale Jr. went by us and into the rear exit of the media center. Security said he was going to be there for an hour, so we left and came back. When we did, we were informed that a few other drivers showed up and were inside doing their Fantasy Football draft. Another hour goes by and one by one they emerge:

    Bonus Round:

    Dale Earnhardt Jr- 1/1
    Matt Kenseth- 1/1
    Kasey Kahne- 1/1
    Kevin Harvick- 1/1
    Austin Dillon- 1/1
    Jamie MacMurray- 1/1

The guys were all cool and signed for the 5 of us there and talked with us about some of their picks.

    Saturday:

    Jack Roush- 1/1
    Rusty Wallace- 2/2
    Carl Edwards- 1/1
    Brian Vickers- 1/1

    Sunday:

Pretty burned out by now and honestly didn't care if I saw a driver or sharpie all day long...and I didn't. By far my best weekend at the track.
