One punch to the top of his head will break an ankle easily. The problem with this new NHL, is that if you are rambunctious, nobody is prepared to do anything about it.
If you are annoying the hell out of me and are going just over the line, My Goon, fighting Your Goon is not going to take care of the annoyance.

All tied up after two...nothing's going to be easy in this series! Animosity is already building up as well...we're in for a sweet 3rd period me thinks :)

Weise wins it in OT with a shot to the high stick-side. If the Lightning don't get Bishop back they are sunk. Lindback is too slow and spends the entire game on his knees.
He was on his knees when Weise roofed the pass, made him look real bad. Good grief, he is 6'6, he should be a pure standup Goaltender at that size. He covers the whole bloody net, but is also slower than the 2nd coming of christ.

Stand up goalie?, the net is 6'6" high? I don't know, they say he actually needs to slow down as he over reacts to plays...with more experience and coaching he could be incredible...as for the Weise goal, he had ALL day on that one, if he misses that he is worse than Clifford lol.... 3 Bolts behind the net! and he is wide open....Anyway not bad for a young back up, he only let in one more than Price, and that one was all on his teammates.

You misread my post. When I played goal like Bernie Parent, I could not go down as I am only 5'8". If I went down the puck would go over my head and into the net.
I will repeat what I said. He is 6"6", he is LARGE and relatively wide. Just stand there. By just standing there he covers 85% of the goal, he goes down and stays down and is hampered severely.
If Lindback would have been standing on that Weise shot, it may have hit him. On his knees, it's a turkey shoot for anyone.

it was a fast paced game and both teams had chances and made some errors
must say price was shakey at times and the team bailed him out.
game 2 should be fun!!

All Three games last night were real good action. The Netminding in all 3 first and second periods was a little suspect by all the participants, but many made up for it in their respective 3rd periods and OT.
Some defense has deffo been thrown out the window if last night is any evidence.
