Not a lot of great selling goalies. Without putting too much effort into this, I would say your clear cut 1 and 2 are:
1 - Martin Brodeur
2 - Carey Price
The following 8 really depend on how their doing at the time. These are prob the most consistent 4 of the bottom 8:
- Marc Andre Fleury
- Jonathan Bernier
- Tuukka Rask
- Henrik Lundqvist
The rest may be interchangeable, but these guys would round out my top 10:
- Roberto Luongo
- Jonathan Quick
- Antti Niemi
- Corey Crawford*** Main PC - Roberto Luongo ***
*** MOST WANTED - 12/13 PRIME COLORS "PATCH" ROBERTO LUONGO x/8 ***

That is a reasonable list with the exception of Bernier being on it. Playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs has automatically inflated his prices even though he has not proven that he can match any of those other new goalies in ability or consistent play. The same is often true of goaltenders who play for Detroit, however; an emerging star to watch is Petr Mrazek. I realize that Ryan Miller is getting to the end of his career but I don't understand how you could leave him off that list; therefore, I would drop Bernier and add his name in its place. Finally, Niemi has had some good years but I would replace him with Bobrovsky, the only reason the Blue Jackets are in the playoffs. The want list at this link features what I need of Gretzky, Roy, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous sets. I also have a CFL want list on my page and if you have nothing from it I will consider other traders of current Ottawa Senators,Guy Lafleur, + trade bait.

I think Lou's cards get more money overall than Fleury and many of the others. His re-sale on older, more scarce inserts and parallels is higher.
Some people will pay as much as $16.00 for $1.50 Luongo Young Gun from 99-00. They won't overpay for anything Fleury.

I don't follow the market on these guys all that closely, but this is when there's been cards of these players I've wanted for various sets over the last year, or so:
Brodeur & Price are 1 and 2. Quick is #3.... I think Crawford & Luongo are probably teh 4th and 5th guys. Bernier, Rask, Lundqvust, and Fleury are probably the next four.... 10th?? Niiemi? Varlamov? Bobrovsky? Not sure.
Whoever gets hot in these playoffs :)

Agreed, could be Varlamov, Bobrovsky, maybe even Ryan Miller might make some noise. But he's seen marginal hobby love to begin with.

I should have said that having Bernier on your list is risky. As soon as the Leafs move on to the next Goalie Saviour you won't be able to trade his cards.

Agree 100% with this. But right now, Bernier is the guy in Toronto... and they missed the playoffs becuase of Reimer, lol. Bernier I put on that list RIGHT NOW, but his spot changes with Leaf fans' fickel nature.

wow awesome. A lot of the players I assumed are on the list. Shouldn't Quick have more hobby as he has a stanley cup win already and is on a solid team? Also, I saw the rookie tender from the Ducks has been off to a nice start. Is John Gibson their next starter?

The Hobby isn't always logical, plus Quick is American and plays a lot of late night games that east coast people don't see...it is also fickle, he was acknowledged as the world's best when L.A. won the Cup....But that was a few years ago, and he just had a recent injury, so, atm, he isn't the flavour of the month. his back-up, Martin Jones is popular right now because he won the World Juniors for the U.S....but it is like QB's, all back-ups are popular.
The Ducks have 2 rookies behind a shaky Hiller, Frederick Anderson and Gibson.
