Galchenyuk to start game 2.... in net LOL

What Montreal needs to do after a but kicking like this is to do the etche sketch thing, shake their head and say that is gone. I am sure they will regroup and we will see the real Montreal team out for game 2.

We all know that this is not them

If the Habs don't respond next game, after they're embarrassed at home, then it's game over.

The basic adjustment the Habs need to make is that they're dealing with a pure speed+skill team, unlike Boston which wasn't slow but was more gritty and at a lower gear. The Habs know they can beat these guys.

    The Habs Problem?

They are still trapped in their moody series with Boston. When Montreal and Boston play, both teams play "Moody Hockey", which is to say, whomever is not leading plays in a bad mood. Playing moody hockey will get you nowhere.

It leads to stupidity and stick-hack hockey as you witnessed with Subban and Prust and their antics. As far as the Habs are concerned, having beaten Boston might be the nemesis that the next opponent needs.

If Montreal does not get their heads out of the Boston series and into this one, it could be over fast.

Game 1 in the books 7-2 Rangers, can we transfer 4 goals to next game and have this be a 3-2 final.
