50/50 Opportunity: Ron Kittle
Hi everyone,
Former Chicago White Sox slugger Ron Kittle seems to be doing appearances every weekend in my area, and so I wanted to open it up to anyone who needed his autograph.
Kittle was named the 1983 AL Rookie of the Year, and played from 1982 through 1991, for the Chicago White Sox (1982–86, 1989, 1991), New York Yankees (1986–87), Cleveland Indians (1988) and Baltimore Orioles (1990).
I will be accepting trading cards, 8x10's, and authentic balls. For the 8x10 or ball, let me know if you want 1983 AL ROY as an inscription.
All of the 50/50 rules apply, and all will be done in the trade manager. You need to prep any cards that you send, and you need to provide a SASE. Cards need to be in nr mint/mint condition, please do not send old beat-up cards.
PLEASE NOTE: Ron Kittle will NOT sign his 1984 Topps cards, unless you pay $25 to charity. Therefore, unless you send $25 cash, the 1984 Topps card cannot be part of the 50/50.
The sooner the better, as I don't know how long these weekly appearances will continue, please send me a PM if you are interested, and let me know what items you are planning to send (FYI: I am very interested in getting the 2009 Tristar Obak card #65 for myself).

just curious...any reason why he's charging 25 bucks for that specific card?

It's a weird quirk that he has, I'm not sure if there is a story behind it. He will sign anything else for free, but not that card. The money goes to charity, so it's not all bad.
