Beckett Media Announces New Hockey Editor - Stephen Laroche
Beckett Media is pleased to announce that Stephen Laroche has joined its editorial team and will take the helm of two of its monthly magazines today.
Some collectors may recognize him as being a former brand manager for In The Game, where he spent the past 10 years working on numerous projects ranging from its extensive hockey lines to Sportkings and Ringside boxing. Earlier in 2014, Laroche began contributing content to Beckett Hockey and he will be replacing the outgoing Susan Lulgjuraj as editor for that publication as well as Beckett Basketball.
“I am incredibly thrilled by this new opportunity with Beckett,” he said, “and believe that I can continue to move these titles in a positive direction.

With a new editor, I'm sure there will be some positive and creative changes to the magazine in the future. You may have noticed a few of Laroche's articles in previous issues of the hockey Beckett as well.
Edit: I will add that for those who have attended any Expo in Toronto, that you have likely seen or met Stephen at ITG's booth. His knowledge of hockey history and the hobby of collecting is phenomenal, and I can only imagine what he will do for Beckett as well.Last edited by flemingc04; 06-30-2014 at 01:42 PM.

That's good news. The previous editor couldn't pronounce half the players' names correctly.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Wonder where Susan is headed. Beckett needs all the help they cam get. Always good to see a person with knowledge of the sport (hockey) get the position?

Glad to see Susan land somewhere decent; she seemed nice enough but editing Beckett Hockey was NOT the job for her! When the editor needs an editor...

Susan's great and she is in fact now working at Topps. All the best to her.
Stephen is nothing short of great guy, passionate collector, and both a fan and knowledgeable of the industry. The hobby is lucky to have him on board at Beckett.
