favorite inscriptions?
Just wanted to give people a place to share their favorite inscriptions- they can be hard to get and ask for, but really make items pop!
Here are some of mine to get things started:
Nick Foles, "TD Record" inscription, with the date he tied the record
Brad Lidge 08 world champs
Carlos Ruiz "Chooch"
Roy Halladay "2 Time Cy Young"
Jonathan Papelbon "Cinco Ocho"

I have many and will list a few. The first is an actress that horror movie fans will know quickly and I had sent an email her. She sent a few different mailings to me. I assume she ran across my email a few times in her box as she mailed to me more than once.
and also this:
and this
and finally this:
Coolest inscription I had ever gotten from a HOF player:
My daughters loved the Bridge To Terabithia movie and I sent a DVD cover to one of the actresses hoping to be able to gift them a signed copy. They have the signed DVD, but I kept these items as they were addressed to me and I thought the gesture was cool:
Always fond of folks who stay in character with inscriptions as well:
My favorite is the first TTM I ever sent and also a very simple inscription:
The fact that a star like him would take time to send a personalized autograph out is amazing. He will be missed!Hidden Content ~ best SCF feature ever!

eh, he only did it to prevent resale. I got him IP and asked for HOF. he said I need $20 for that. I said I don't have $20 on me, you can put it and personalize if you want. he personalized and added god bless, but no HOF

Actually I had sent him a card and not the photo. He was nice enough to provide that and sent it with information on how to get my item signed for a fee for medical research. I was just a kid then and paying for an auto was something I would never have considered. I was like $25 for your item and back then you could buy a box of Topps for like $9!
