Report: Gretzky Part of Group Trying to Bring NHL Team to Seattle

Wayne Gretzky could be on his way back to the NHL as an owner, but in an entirely new location.

The New York Post reported Friday that Gretzky has joined a group of investors trying to bring an NHL team to Seattle.

A team in Seattle would be a mitzvah for me and so many other Canucks fans (all seventeen of us now)

Judging by the number of BCer's that make the drive for Seahawks and Sounders games, a hockey team down there would have more than a few tickets sold to Canadians.

Seems the post article may of jumped the gun, or Gretz wants to keep his part quiet a little while longer.
