Has the GU market gotten this bad? Or is this a sweet deal?

I tossed in a bid on this just because nobody else had, and was certainly surprised to win it! Admittedly, this is not the kind of thing I would normally buy, as I'm not all that familiar with the interest in base jersey cards. But considering it's nearly 90% of UD Series 1, I figured it was worth it:

A little bit of both? I used to look out for those bulk jersey lots, I'd pounce if I could get them for under a buck apiece. I'd wind up keeping 4 or 5 of them and flip the rest one by one.

It's the summer-time lull, a lot of money just flew out the door towards SPA and Contenders, UD1 is yesterday's news - all of that might be contributing factors. That said, I think you got a great deal there, I sold a Carey Price at the card show a couple weekends ago for a fiver :D

My guess is that the way it was listed, not very many people at all saw it. The counter shows 12. There's no way that a lot of people who would ordinarily be interested in such a thing even saw it. If I'm a Carey Price collector it wouldn't even pull from the advanced search query to include Description because he didn't list the players who are in there.

Also, nice yellow swatch on the Subban. LOL

As already said the title was poor for the auction and it looks like it only had 12 hits registered on the counter. Probably would have gone for more if people were able to find the auction but the game used market has gotten really bad lately especially for regular non numbered jersey cards.

Nice lot pickup for sure, but its def gotten bad, hard to move those for sure. Only ones i could move when i setup at shows were the Oilers (since im in Edmonton).
