    BryanATX's successes

I don't do as much as a lot of you guys do, but I do what I can! Its been a good year so far but I'm not gonna post the past....so most recently (Saturday 7/19), I went to see the Iowa Cubs when they came to town to play the round rock express (AAA affiliates). I got booed a lot because of my cubs shirt, but whatever, we won. Anyway, I really only wanted to get a couple guys, and I did.

Kris Bryant signed a bat for me. He was in a hurry and walked by me at first, so I went down the line. Surely he saw the shirt right? Either that, or he thought I was just some d.b. looking to sell it. But anyway it isn't the prettiest of his signature I've seen, but was actually one of the better ones I saw that night, and I am SO STOKED to have it regardless.I am not selling this. I've never sold an autograph before, and don't plan to. Ill be building a custom display for it soon! He made quite a sick play in the first that was amazing to see. The cannon on this kid from third....wow.

Javier Baez signed for about 4 or 5 people before the game, and I was not one of them. I was pretty bummed. But luckily I caught him afterwards, and he signed a ball beautifully for me and added "12". Very nice kid, and one hell of a ball player!

It was a great night, and a great game. A very sincere thanks to those guys for signing for a fan. GO CUBBIES!

Sat 8/2 & Mon 8/4 Round Rock Express vs Memphis Redbirds

Saturday, I gave up my entire pregame on a gamble to chase Mr. Nolan Ryan around hoping for one. I lost that gamble. It was also the induction of Jackie Moore into the Express HOF, with him being the first ever inductee. They gave out mini HOF plaques at the gate for the occasion. I asked Mr. Moore to sign my ticket, which he happily did (nicest guy I've talked to in a while). It should look nice in a display with the plaque, so I'm pretty happy about that one. Also, after the game...

Derek Holland (in town on rehab assignment) 1/2 on a 2012 heritage black parallel. I asked him if he had time to sign a couple for me. He replied, "or like, just one". Lol he's great. Also best mustache in the game.

Luke Jackson 1/1 2014 bowman chrome

Luis Sardinas 1/1 2014 bowman. He came back out to sign for me because I had asked. Really cool guy.

    Monday was good....

Derek Holland 1/2 2012 heritage insert FOR THE SET! Chatted for a minute after the game. He says his knee feels good, so that's encouraging!

Michael Choice 1/1 2012 bowman platinum refractor

    Pedro Feliciano 1/1 2010 topps

Geovany Soto (also rehabbing) 2/2 2012 heritage FOR THE SET! & a ROMLB. He ended up hitting a walk off hr in extra innings!!!!!

Always a good time at the Dell Diamond!

Those are some nice IP successes! Thanks for sharing them with us. Best of luck on getting that Nolan Ryan! It would be awesome to get him on a photo with the confrontation he had with Robin Ventura. I loved watching the old man whoop Robin for charging the mound. It is more memorable to me than any of those no-hitters!

IMO that was one of the best moments in baseball in my lifetime. He just wasn't in a signing mood at all that night. But as we all know, that's how it goes sometimes...plus, it wouldn't be as fun if it was easy
