P.K. Subban Redemption Replacement Mailday!

This turned out as well as I could have expected.

A couple months ago I inquired with Upper Deck about the status of a long-standing Subban redemption - it was his 13-14 Trilogy Signature Pucks auto and I was really hoping that they were close to having the cards ready. Well, quite the opposite. I got the word that they are not having any luck getting him to sign and are recommending to collectors that they request replacements.

So I requested a hard-signed rookie year autograph for my replacement.

Took a good couple months after the call was made but then this arrived today:

Like I said, couldn't have gone much better.

I replaced all mine as well and also got the FWA, still waiting on a replacement for his Emblems of Endorsement, would have been a nice card to have

I think that's a pretty nice replacement. Those pucks are really cool cards, but if they're going to replace them - that's a great card to get back.

No not yet, really don't care much about the Future Watch has I already have it. I don't see what else they could offer me that would make me happy! I'll give them a call later this week... maybe! lol

If I were in your shoes with those cards owed I would tell them that I want the rookie-year equivalent of all of them if such a thing exists. Many of his releases from that year were also redemption cards so you should be able to convert. You may not get to go card-for-card but here's some reasonable alternatives...

For the dual...

Signature Pucks - I'd ask for this:

It's never easy with this sort of thing but if you can be specific with your request (don't just say "Habs" because you may be saddled with undesirables) I find that they're pretty good about it. Due to the number involved see if you can get put through to a customer service manager.
