    Often with nameplates .....at least 1 of the first or last letters are short printed. If the first or last letters of a persons name is a duplicate letter, then his 2nd last letter will be the SP

    Well, since Robert Mayer was included in the set and he has never appeared in an NHL game, I would say no. There are also guys like Hertl who have been in fewer than 50 games, and they have 75 of each letter, so that would be pretty difficult to arrange.

    The namesakes letters are not the same size as the letters on an actual nhl jersey. If you look at the prime genuine captains cards, only half of the letter fits on a card.

    If you look at them side by side with namesakes you'll notice namesakes are smaller. More printed space on the namesakes cards
