...........was on Saturday!! Burgers and Ribs and a bocci-ball tournament and a waterpark and fun for the whole family!!

Which I why I skipped it and drove up to Kelowna with Amy for trade-night at Player's Choice Sports Cards. HOLY what a store, I got to hold a Jacques Plante GU stick! Richard & Rob from Kelowna, Peter from Salmon Arm, Darcy from Prince George, Jeremy the Big Giant Head at HI from Calgary, who knows who else I've forgotten.........

I went to OT Sports Cards the night before to buy a 3000-ct box to put all my traders into, Derek wound up giving me the box for freeeeeee after I bought this one off him.........

So then off to Kelowna. I bought three binder-fillers from the store to start........

I traded away three Trevor Linden autos for this one, still not sure how I feel about it........

Darcy's little boy was trying to put together the Donruss (?) Les Gardiens set, the acetate goalie cards, and he needed my Luongo, so I traded it away for these two bad boys :D

Me and Darcy got into it after that. This guy, he's got some cards, man. 2 entire rows of a 3000-ct box that are wayyyyy out of my league, which left me with the other 2 rows. I traded away a 03/04 ITG Used Doug Harvey Gold jersey, a ITG Steve Yzerman card with four pieces of jersey-stuff on it and a Brett Hull Dominion Peerless Patches that I'd really grown to hate away for a card that had belonged to Richard earlier in the evening..........

And a current one, I just think it looks neat and I've had luck busting Galchenyuk out of packs this year but not Gallagher......

After seeing 30 3000-ct boxes of unsorted stuff at Player's Choice, I've decided once-and-for-all that there justtttt might be a few too many hockey cards in this world and it's time to choose quality over quantity. One Brett Hull 5/10 auto can definitely replace 5 lesser Brett Hull autos :)

So all-in-all, Kelowna was a blast! Thanks to Rich & Rob for palling around with me eh?
