I'm not American (I am Canadian) but thank you for your service.

Anybody that is/was in the military does not hear that enough, in my opinion.

Canadian and American forces have fought side by side on many occasions. My late grandfather and my late next door neighbor were both in WWII (both were survivors thankfully). Military service means a lot to me.

Again, thank you for your service.
